State of the Union was...okay. I still feel like the Congress is a playground for boys who think they're men. Or girls who think they're women. Office politics are more sophisticated than the silly actions Congress folk do. Whenever I watch the SotU, I feel like I'm observing a kindergarten playground where Susie is friends with Jane and they talk about Sally behind her back. Childish, I tell you. Childish.

I've pretty much planned my wedding already. I'm going to have to marry a man who's content with sitting back and letting me work the wedding. I think wedding planning fits so well into my obsession over organization. We're going to run a tight operation in getting things together. I bought a bridal mag the other day that had two additional mags with it--the Exclusively Weddings catalog and a mag about honeymoon destinations. And speaking of destinations, I think a destination wedding is looking more and more attractive. I really want a beach wedding with a whole beach motif for the reception. And the colors will be ocean blue and white. I've already found place settings and centerpieces that would fit so well with that theme.

Other than that, I'm feeling kind of blah. My life is quite uncertain right now and I dislike not having direction...or control. So that's that.
